Nordic Morning is the leading communications group in the Nordic region.
Our mission is to help companies and other organizations communicate better – more effectively, efficiently and responsibly. Progressive and innovative, Nordic Morning has been at the forefront of the communications industry for more than 150 years.
Nordic Morning is made up of the parent company, Nordic Morning Plc, as well as five Finnish and five Swedish subsidiaries that operate in different communications sectors. Nordic Morning is also a shareholder in one Swedish company.
Nordic Morning employs about 800 communications professionals in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine and India.
In the group structure, the subsidiaries are divided into four business areas: Marketing Services, Editorial Communication, Publishing, and Print & Distribution.
All subsidiaries have a specific market position and provide services that differ from those of their sister companies. However, they all share the vision of being leaders in their own sector of communication.
Parent company's role in relation to its subsidiaries is to be an active and innovative developer, and an attractive home for
strategically interesting business and competences, encouraging innovativeness.
In recent years, Nordic Morning has undergone a transformation; the group’s business operations have been developed in accordance with the major changes taking place in the communications industry as the focus has shifted from traditional printed products to digital channels.
While operations and services with declining profitability have been discontinued, new companies have been acquired and all group companies have been developed to become forerunners in digital and multichannel communications in their field.
